These terms govern your use of https://houseofmaji.com and the products and services offered by House of Maji. By using our site or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.
1. Our services
We supply, install and service water-treatment systems and related products — including domestic purifiers, whole-house and industrial RO/UF systems, water-refill business kits, school water packages, franchises, water testing, servicing and spare parts.
2. Quotes & pricing
- Prices shown on this site are indicative and may change without notice.
- Final pricing and system sizing are confirmed after a site assessment or water test.
- Quotes are valid for the period stated on the quote.
3. Orders & payment
Orders are confirmed once we receive the agreed deposit or payment. Payment terms, deposits and balances are set out in your quote or contract. Installation is scheduled after confirmation.
4. Installation
You're responsible for providing safe site access, water supply, power and any civil works needed for installation, unless agreed otherwise in writing. Final system sizing depends on your water quality, demand and site conditions.
5. Warranty
Products carry the warranty stated in your quote or contract. Warranty excludes consumables (such as filters, membranes and UV parts beyond fair use) and damage from misuse, power surges, vandalism, theft or unauthorised servicing. Routine servicing is required to keep warranties valid.
6. Servicing & maintenance
We recommend servicing at the intervals advised for your system. Consumables and out-of-warranty repairs are chargeable. See our Service & Maintenance page.
7. School water packages
- Fees are termly; the commitment fee secures your installation slot.
- A free water audit informs our recommendation.
- Year 1 covers the machine, installation and full service; Year 2 onward covers maintenance and water assurance.
- A smart meter is compulsory and included.
- Damage from power surges, vandalism or theft is billed separately.
- Pricing applies within our service area; final sizing depends on enrolment and water quality.
8. Franchise
Franchise arrangements are governed by a separate franchise agreement, which sets out branding, support, obligations and fees.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Kenyan law.
10. Intellectual property
The House of Maji name, logo, content and images on this site are our property and may not be used without permission.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Kenyan courts.
